You can tell that Liverpool have truly started to turn the corner when we’re complaining about who took a penalty that won us the game.

Last night Liverpool dominated the Turkish league leaders, with 64% of possession and 18 chances. The one solitary goal belies the fact that, despite a pretty poor game, the away side couldn’t have complained too much had Brendan Rodgers’ team walked away with a couple more goals.

Regardless, the boys won and our superb 2015 form continues. We’ll speak more on the penalty incident at a later date. For now, let’s take a look at how the players rated.

The ratings are good but they should stop attacking my super mario

Sturridge is doing well but should not be selfish in distributing the ball. The team scoring goal is very important

  • John Wallen says:

Sturridge was totally out of order. If Henderson, as captain, decides to let Balotelli take the penalty, Sturridge shouldn’t be throwing a strop.
