An end-to-end game can usually only end well for one team, despite being both thrilling and sickening in equal amounts for fans. Thankfully, Liverpool’s new-found strength in depth paid off big time last night as two substitutes combined to find the winner for Liverpool and Mario Balotelli finally got a Premier League goal for the first time since 2012.
With one of Liverpool’s next big three league games out of the way, and three points collected in the process, there is the small matter of FA Cup and Europa League games to come in the next 7 days but for now, let’s just bask in the glory of an exciting display and win.
