Coutinho has been named the PFA fan’s Player of the Month for February
After winning the Match of the Day goal of the month award on Sunday, Coutinho has followed that up today by being named as the PFA fans’ Player of the Month for February.
The young midfielder also won the club’s own Player of the Month award in December and January, and as the Premier League begins to sit up and take notice, Coutinho has only further enhanced his reputation. Not to mention his chances of winning one of the awards come the end of the season.
Coutinho was in superb form in February, being one of the main instigators of Liverpool’s resurgence in the league and progress in the FA Cup and his goal against Southampton capped an incredible month for the player.
If he continues at this pace, there’s no reason we couldn’t be revisiting the same discussion by the end of March, particularly after he got the month off to a top start with an excellent winning goal against Manchester City on Sunday.
