Liverpool are currently the league’s form team, and will be hoping that they can maintain this form with victory over their bitter rivals. Liverpool have won their last five on the spin, picking up 25 points from a possible 27, and have put themselves in contention for a Champions League spot.

Manchester United will hope that the trip from Manchester to Liverpool proves to be a fruitful one, where they can pick up the points. United have also come into some good form, having won their last three on the bounce without conceding, and will want to maintain that run with a fourth victory on the spin.
