Alonso is one of a host of world stars at Anfield today
As Anfield plays host to the All-star Charity match for the LFC Foundation this afternoon, Liverpool fans will be treated to a huge collection of current and past greats, as well as other former and current stars of the game.
With Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard captaining the sides, fans will have the chance to see the likes of Luis Suarez, Xabi Alonso, Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba in what should be a very special occasion. Even more so, given that it is for a great cause.
Prior to the match, former Liverpool players Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso and Pepe Reina have spoken to LFCTV about their careers at the club and their excitement to be returning to Anfield and playing in front of the home crowd, once again.
