Rodgers seems to have lost his way and it showed more than ever before against Stoke yesterday

And so, it finally ends.

If you’re like us, you’ll probably be thankful that that awful season is over. The next couple of weeks promises to be stressful and, no doubt, a little bit painful but it can’t be as bad as 90% of last season was.

Has there ever been such a dismal year in recent LFC history? Even the Hodgson era ended positively in the appointment of King Kenny and the signing of Luis Suarez but the last 12 months under Rodgers has to go down as the worst, most directionless and leaderless era in Anfield history. There are some big decisions to be made before the summer window opens and, this year, it has to be done right.

For now, click through our final player ratings of the season below.

I'm a 32 year old Liverpool fan, living in the heart of the City Centre. I've supported the club since the day I was born and have been writing articles for L4L for over 3 years, writing close over 350 articles in that time. My favorite player of the past generation is Sami Hyypia.

I am the current editor for L4L, with my day job being in R&D for the NHS.

Liverpool fc is doomed. Fsg has no ambition. They should have sacked Rogers 24hrs after the Stoke disgrace if they had ambition. Next season will be worse. Another major problem lfc has is that the fans are dangerously keeping quiet in the face of clear mediocrity on the path of fsg, MD, Ayre & baby coach, Rogers. Even QPR can’t tolerate this degradation.
