The club have announced its intention to return to Thailand during the summer tour

Liverpool FC will be returning to Thailand, taking on the True All Stars as part of the club’s 2015 pre-season tour.

Following a successful visit to the Thai capital in 2013, the Reds will play the All Stars at the Rajamangala stadium on Tuesday 14 July and will once again experience the passion of the Asian supporters.

Organised in association with True Corporation PCL and Muse Group Bangkok, this will be the Club’s sixth visit to Bangkok since their first in 1983. This will be the first stop of the pre-season tour that will also see the team visit Brisbane, Adelaide and Kuala Lumpur.

LFC Midfielder, Joe Allen said: “With so many Liverpool FC fans in Thailand, the opportunity to play in the country is fantastic and the team are really looking forward to it. The reception the Club received during the 2013 visit was unbelievable and I am looking forward to experiencing that passion and delivering some great football.”

Mr. Boonperm Intanapasat, CEO of Muse Group, Bangkok, said: “This special and privileged True Super Trophy 2015 football event is poised to be the biggest and grandest to have ever graced Thailand and the region. There will be a lot of activities specially designed and organized for the local Kopites to enjoy, including the opportunity to have some close and memorable interactions with their favorite LFC players.

“We are certain that the exceptional combination of this festive fan event and the exciting football match between Liverpool Football Club and Thailand’s True All Stars will lead to many wonderful and unforgettable moments for all sports fans in Thailand in 2015.”

In addition to the full Liverpool FC squad, the touring party will include, Liverpool Legends – Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush along with coaching staff from the Club’s charity, Liverpool FC Foundation,  who will carry out work in the community throughout the visit as well as taking part in events with official LFC supporters’ clubs.
