Liverpool Football Club can today officially announce the launch of the official LFC Youth Wristband for young fans to wear on matchdays at Anfield.
The wristbands will be available at the Reds’ first Barclays Premier League home game against AFC Bournemouth on Monday 17th August.
The creation of the wristband is to ensure that any child, who becomes separated from their parent or guardian, can be reunited as quickly as possible.
The following areas at Anfield will be distributing the wristbands; Family Park, Family Zone, Fan Support, LFC store and Ticket Office windows.
Liverpool Football Club Operations Director, Andrew Parkinson said; “I think the LFC Youth Wristband is a fantastic idea and one that can only be beneficial on a busy matchday.
“Anfield regularly attracts 45,000 supporters so this will act as an important tool in ensuring that any youngster that does become separated from their responsible adult is returned as quickly as possible.”
The LFC Youth Wristbands will also be provided to gate staff and stewards, as well as tour guides in order to ensure that all staff at Anfield are able to assist young supporters.
