The last time a ‘how should Liverpool line up against.. ‘ piece was written, Brendan Rodgers was still manager and the opposition was FC Sion. The end result was.. underwhelming, to say the least. Then, barely three days later, Liverpool no longer had Rodgers at the club.
Things moved quickly in the resulting days, and Jurgen Klopp is now the Liverpool manager and will, this evening, enter into his first game in charge at Anfield (and in Europe) since joining the club.
The Russian side currently site bottom of the Europa League group, with just 1 point. That said, Liverpool are only 1 point better off. A win, though, and the Reds could leap-frog the group leaders.
Of course, the outcome of the game all depends on who Jurgen decides is most likely to take all three points. And, obviously, all depends on how seriously he intends to take the competition. A great many of these decision will, of course, be out of the manager’s hands with an injury list growing by the day.
Regardless, we’ll find out around 19:05 tonight but, in the meantime, have a look at the side we’d field this evening.

With Klopp’s preference a 4-2-3-1 formation I would give Allen and Can the call for midfield with Ibe,Lallana and Firmino in the attacking third, with Origi as the lone striker with Jerome Sinclair as a direct substitute if Origi does not deliver, and thereby resting Coutinho,
I agree with the defence selections.
Why pick a 4-3-3 line up when klopp will play a 4-2-3-1 surely play ojo on the wing instead of allen
