Jurgen Klopp’s men take on Crystal Palace at Anfield today in the team’s final game before the international break. If the home side are able to get the three points, it’ll be four wins in a row for Klopp and seven unbeaten since he joined the club.

Unfortunately for Liverpool, injury has struck again with stand-in captain, James Milner, being ruled out due to a hamstring injury today. He joins the long list of first team players currently out with Daniel Sturridge, Jordan Henderson, Danny Ings and Jon Flanagan, amongst others, currently out.

With Martin Skrtel and Lucas Leiva likely to return to the team today, it will be either of those two players, or Mamadou Sakho, taking the captaincy.

For Palace, things are looking much better on that particular front, with just Chamakh, Appiah and Chung-Yong currently out and youngster Dwight Gayle reportedly struggling with a knock.

The London side go into the game on the back of a run that has seen them win-less since a home win at the beginning of October. However, Alan Pardew’s men did manage to stop the rot at home to Manchester United last weekend, managing a scoreless draw following the 5-1 defeat to Utd’s city rivals the previous week.

Although, despite Palace’s poor form in recent weeks, Liverpool sit just a point ahead in the Premier League table. Klopp’s team will be hoping to build on their own recent good form to close in on the top four.

Are you confident that the boys will get a win today, and who would you like to see start in Milner’s place? Let us know your thoughts below.
