Well, that could’ve been much worse. And you have to say, considering how much of that game went, you have to say ‘at least we got a draw’. But it should be made very clear to those players tonight that those are words no Liverpool fan should ever have to say, unless we’re at the Nou Camp or Allianz Arena.

The overriding question from that game today should be: how on earth does a side that has 70% of possession, creates 28 chances only emerge from a home game with a draw against a team that couldn’t have made it clearer they were here to try to make the most of any set-pieces that came their way?

Much of the problem stemmed – once again – from the man between the sticks for the Reds. Liverpool had looked largely comfortable throughout the first half, eventually taking the lead and looking like they would go on to earn a fairly straightforward three points. Then Mignolet had one of his typical brain-farts and the players suddenly looked all over the place.

Things didn’t improve and successive corners saw Liverpool struggling to come to terms with West Brom’s very physical approach. In the end, a draw was welcome but it should never have got to that stage.

It has become very clear that too many players aren’t pulling their weight and Jurgen will have some big decisions to make over the next few weeks.

    Good analysis.
Mignolet needs time out. He is a bag of nerves.
Chan is talented but very slapdash.
Benteke is an impact player. Klopp needs to show him some old Gerd Muller videos.
Firmino needs to realise he is playing for Liverpool not some second rate German team.

Liverpool lack WINGERS and creativity benteke not suitable our style of play slows down the game prefer Ings. Firmino showing glimpse of talent but not enough. As for Ibe not creative good for running. We need a decent center back like subotic, keep Lucas,Can,Henderson midfield a decent right Winger and a consistent striker.
