The Real winger could be about to join Liverpool on loan

While the possibility of signing Alex Teixeira from Shakthar Donetsk before Deadline Day ends is looking more and more bleak, it appears there may still be some action for Liverpool before the window closes.

According to reports originating from Spain, Real Madrid’s Russian winger, Denis Cheryshev, is about to make a move to a Premier League side (so says Spanish outlet Cope) and Liverpool are tipped to be that team.

The 25 year old has failed to make the break-through at Madrid, despite having been at the club since joining as a youth player in 2008. The Russian international has played over 100 games for Real Madrid B, where is often impressed, and spent last season on loan at Villareal, where he scored 7 times and assisted a further 10 goals.

The Reds were also linked to the player in the last two transfer windows so it’s no real surprise to see the rumours doing the rounds again today. Cheryshev’s future has never been more in doubt, after the player was at the centre of the storm that saw Real kicked out of the Spanish cup for fielding him while the winger was ineligible.

The reports claim that Liverpool will sign the wide player on loan until the end of the season and, as a stop-gap, it would be a fairly decent move, particularly with the Reds needing more of an attacking threat.

Would you support the idea of signing the Russian on loan, with a view to perhaps returning for Teixeira in the summer? Let us know your thoughts below.

We need a Striker not a winger !!!
Goals are what’s needed just invest a lot in a Real Striker after we sort are striker problem then we can get players from over positions

Can he top 9? Winger with eye for goals, win free kicks penalties and corners. Delivers tricky square play to targets, take on opponent..All these in Denis chelvery? Then good go.
