The Liverpool manager won’t have been too impressed with a replay but there were plenty of positives to take from the match

West Ham will no doubt come away from Anfield tonight fairly content with a replay. Liverpool, on the other hand, will feel that the game was there for the taking, particularly in the second half.

Had the Reds had a couple of other fit, first team strikers, things may have worked out differently. Christian Benteke was again very poor, but the fact that Jurgen Klopp made ten changes and brought in a number of young players means the result was relatively impressive.

Another replay is an issue though, and one that Klopp was probably hoping to avoid. But it is also another opportunity for the youngsters to impress, and the injury list will hopefully have eased slightly by then.

For now, a 0-0 home draw is a frustrating result. But it does show that we have a highly talented crop of youngsters that are – mostly – ready for regular first-team action. As you may have guessed, we gave a few of them very good ratings. Check them out below.

You gave Benteke a far bigger score than he deserved, personally minus 4.5 is all I’d have given.

I think it high time for klopp to allow those young players to play during premier league than the old players since the older ones can’t deliver anymore, the young players should be allowed to play against Leicester.Klopp should think about it

I strongly think its time for those youngstars to start playing in the premiere league since their seniors cannot deliver someone like joao texeira, Brad Smith should start for the reds at least against leicester on tuesday night pls klopp give them more game time and see how they deliver cos there are young and pacy

jurgen klopp should continue sticking with firminho to be the main man upfront because we can no longer rely on the services of benteke for now maybe latter and hope coutinho return fast as his presence again will boolster Liverpool for more fierce premiere league challenges and too with sturridge, divock origi cos we need them.
