To the backdrop of a 77 minute mass exodus, Liverpool threw away another lead today
Well, wasn’t that predictable?
To the backdrop of a large section of Liverpool fans walking out of Anfield in the 77th minute, Liverpool once again squandered a strong lead in typically embarrassing fashion.
The Reds were again flying and looked strong for their lead, dominating possession with over 75% as the game ticked past the 75 minute mark. But as fans began to stream out, the team seemed to let their grip slip and in a typical bit of Simon Mignolet goalkeeping, what should’ve been a fairly comfortable free-kick ended up slipping through.
Let’s be honest, Liverpool are an embarrassment at present, so these ratings aren’t going to be pretty!
