The Bayern star could be set for a big exit in the summer

It promises to be the ‘big one’ this summer, where Liverpool are concerned, with regards Mario Gotze. The Germany international star is clearly unhappy at Bayern Munich, after falling out of favour big time with Pep Guardiola and comments from his club and national team mate, Thomas Muller, will set tongues wagging.

According to Muller, the 23 year old attacking player has not had the best of times at the German behemoths in the short time he’s been there and, although refusing to comment further on Gotze’s situation, Muller did have this to say (via the Daily Express):”I speak with Mario and think he is not 100 per cent satisfied with his situation at Bayern.

“But I am not Mario’s agent, so I am not going to speak about his future.”

Simple words, of course, but nothing is ever simple in football and Muller’s team mate has expressed his unhappiness at his treatment and lack of playing time under Guardiola several times already this season. Things have not improved and look unlikely to before the season end.

And, according to the newspaper, this will only further peak the interest of Liverpool and their rivals Arsenal, who are both reportedly keen to try their luck in signing the world class attacker, who has played just 12 times for Bayern this season.

Do you think Liverpool should make Gotze their main target this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
