The Ajax winger is apparently a target for Liverpool this summer
According to reports this morning, Liverpool are in negotiations for Dutch winger Anwar El Ghazi, who has been highly impressive in the Eredivisie over the past two seasons with Ajax.
Dutch giants Ajax are currently level on points with great rivals PSV and El Ghazi has been one of the stars of the season, scoring 11 goals in 36 games across all competitions, and has played twice for his country of choice, the Netherlands, this season.
At just 20, the attacker is considered to have massive potential and a great future ahead of him, with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo cited as his hero; a player that El Ghazi is believed to model himself on.
With a handful of games remaining in the Dutch season, the youngster will have a pivotal role to play, something which could only see his value increase, and if Liverpool are actually in negotiations then the winger would certainly represent an exciting prospect for fans next season.
All of this comes courtesy of Italian website Gianluca Di Marzio (via the Express), who say that Liverpool are hoping to snatch the player right out from under the noses of the likes of AC Milan and Man Utd for a fee believed to be around £12 million.
