According to claims from German website Kicker, Liverpool are interested in signing Germany international Andre Schurlle in the summer transfer window.
Schurlle joins almost every other German player on the planet in being linked with a move to Anfield since Klopp took charge as the Reds manager but there can be no doubting he possesses quality.
The Wolfsburg star was a signing for Chelsea a few years ago, where he spent a couple of seasons before being moved on after a change of manager at the club, and he has gone some way to building his reputation up again in his homeland.
With 50 caps and 20 goals, as well as a World Cup winners medal for Germany, the player would have a lot to offer and would no doubt be keen to make the step back to English football after a mixed spell at Chelsea.
However, he is keen to see out the season before thinking of his future after he told Sky Sports: “Right now this is not a topic for me to discuss as we have important games to go.
“But after that we have to talk about the future – it’s clear that there might be some changes.”
Spurs are also reportedly interested in the player who is primarily a winger or attacking midfielder but is capable of playing a more forward role.
