Sportske Novosti in Croatia are reporting that there is solid interest from Liverpool for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric. The 19 year old is also interesting Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City according to the newspaper.
The report goes as far as to say that the player is at the top of Jurgen Klopp’s transfer wishlist this summer and the German manager has already called the player to talk about Liverpool and whether he would be interested in a move to Anfield.
Coric is an attacking midfield player and has played 32 times this season in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. Sportske Novosti believe that his club Dinamo Zagreb could be prepared to sell the player for €15million or £11.5million
The youngster doesn’t yet have a senior international cap to his name but was named in the 27 man provisional squad by Croatia for next month’s European Championships. If he does make the cut, it will be interesting to see him in action in the Euros this summer.
