Barcelona full back Aleix Vidal was offered to Liverpool by his agent, according to Mundo Deportivo. The player only moved from Sevilla last summer and had to sit out the first half of the season until Barcelona’s transfer ban was lifted in January.

Despite this, he has still had a lack of game time in the last few months and speculation has grown about his future at the Camp Nou with his agent apparently offering the player to the Reds after it became apparent he was not in manager Luis Enrique’s plans.

It seems with the possible departure of Dani Alves from Barcelona though the Catalans are having second thoughts about selling the player and it is now looking more likely that the player will stay next season as Luis Enrique wants both Vidal and fellow recruit Arda Turan to go into pre-season with a clean slate and prove themselves that they have the quality to play for Barca.
