Juventus have entered the race for Borussia Monchengladbach’s young midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud according to Italian newspaper La Stampa.

Dahoud has also been linked with both Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp’s former team Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks, and it now looks as though the Italian club will make it a three way battle for the 20 year old.

The German Under 21 international was born in Syrian but moved to Germany at a young age. After spells with Germania Reusrath and Fortuna Dusseldorf at junior level, he joined current side Gladbach’s youth setup at the age of 14.

Since then, Dahoud has made his debut for the German club’s first team at the start of the 2014/15 season and has become a regular in the side’s midfield this campaign. With eight assists and five goals in 41 matches this season, the young midfielder is certainly making a name for himself and has attracted the attention of three top European clubs.
