Liverpool and Sevilla have joined Leicester City, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the hunt for Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish newspaper is reporting that Sevilla have stepped their interest in the 27 year old but will have to pay the £15million (€20million) release clause to get their man. Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez confirmed a few days ago that Napoli, Leicester and Atletico Madrid had all approached him regarding Perez but he asked all of them to talk to Deportivo and offer the release clause price if they want to buy the striker. The report also suggests that Barcelona and Liverpool are interested in the player

Perez has had an excellent season in La Liga, with 19 goals in 39 matches in all competitions. His career has seen him play in Ukraine and Greece before moving back to Spain on loan to Deportivo and completing a permanent switch to Depor last summer.
