Livrpool are in the running to sign Yacine Brahimi from Porto, according to O Jogo (via Calciomercato.com). AC Milan and Wolfsburg are also said to be interested in the player.

Brahimi has a €60million release clause in his contract but it is expected that Porto will allow him to go for a lot less. The player wants to focus on the Portuguese cup final on Sunday against Braga before he makes any decision on his future though.

The 26 year old only joined Porto from Granada in 2014 after impressing for Algeria at the World Cup in Brazil. He has performed well during his two year stay in Portugal and this season he has scored 10 goals in 45 appearances, playing predominantly from the left hand side of the attack.

Porto have had a poor season finishing third behind Lisbon rivals Sporting and Benfica, and they may want to cash in Brahimi in order to rebuild their squad in a bid to reclaim the league title next campaign.
