Liverpool are tracking Valenciennes full back Angelo Fulgini, according to France Football. The player has been playing for France U20s in the Toulon Tournament and has been on the Reds’ radar for a while after it was reported last summer they were interested in bringing in the player on trial.

The right back broke into the Valenciennes first team this season and has appeared 29 times in Ligue Two, scoring 2 goals. The player was born in the Ivory Coast before moving to France, and he was part of the youth systems at AS de Saint-Paul-en-ForĂȘt, FC Vidauban and SC Douai before joining his first professional club Valenciennes in 2007.

By 2013, he was playing for the Ligue Two side’s B team and was called up by France U17s. He has subsequently appeared for the national side at U18, Under 19 and Under 20 levels. At the Toulon Tournament he has started 2 of the 4 group games for France against Mexico and Mali.
