Roma confirmed the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Stuttgart yesterday. He had already spent the season on loan it Italy costing the Rome club €4million. They then exercised their option to sign the player for €9.5million. With the total cost of the player being €13.5million, they now want to sell the player for a profit, with Liverpool one of the three prospective buyers, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Reds, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all said to be interested in the 23 year old with Roma hoping to double their money by selling the player for between €20 and €25million (£15-19million).

The German international was named in the final 23 man squad for the European Championships in France alongside Reds midfielder Emre Can. He made 37 appearances for Roma last season scoring 2 goals. Although mainly a centre back, he can be used at full back if needed. Whether Klopp is interested in the player with Roma prepared to sell, time will tell.
