Tottenham have joined the race to sign PSG youngster Jonathan Ikone, according to France Football.
The explosive winger has been the subject of interest of both Liverpool and Manchester City in recent times. Italian club Juventus are the only club to have had concrete talks with the player, reports the French magazine, but no agreement has been made with any club yet.
Ikone has played at Under 17 level for France but the 18 year old has not agreed a professional contract to stay at PSG, and could be lured away from France for around £1.2million.
Ikone is said to have impressed scouts during PSG’s run to the final of the UEFA Youth League. Although they lost 2-1 in the final to Chelsea, the winger and a number of other young PSG players are interesting some of the Europe’s biggest clubs.
Juventus especially have a track record when it comes to attracting young talent from PSG. They took Kingsley Coman to Turin and loaned him out to Bayern Munich where he has featured regularly for Pep Guardiola’s side this season.
