FC Cologne goalkeeper Timo Horn has denied that Liverpool or any other club have made an offer for him.

Talking to German newspaper Bild, Horn was asked about his future at the German club after the draw with Werder Bremen at the weekend, and the 22 year old replied:

“The fact is that I have not had an offer, neither from Liverpool nor any other club. As it stands now, next season I’ll be with FC Koln”

“I have always said that if an offer from a top club comes, I’ll deal with it. But there are very few clubs with which I will deal with.”

Bild previously linked Horn with a move to Liverpool saying the German keeper has a £6million release clause in his contract which expires before the end of the season.

If Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants the young keeper then, he will need to move fast for the player before Cologne ask for a higher transfer fee. It remains up for debate however whether the German manager is looking for a replacement for Simon Mignolet. The Belgian international had one of his better performances against Watford yesterday in a 2-0 win making some good saves to keep his 11th clean sheet of the season.
