Manchester City will offer £6million for Liverpool target Ante Coric, according to the Daily Mail. Coric’s club Dinamo Zagreb however want £10million plus future appearance bonuses for the 19 year old, the newspaper reports, and they believe the Reds are prepared to meet their asking price.
Chelsea are also said to be keeping tabs on Coric but it is Liverpool who seem to be in the lead for the Croatian international. Reports in recent weeks emanating from Croatia suggest that Jurgen Klopp has already talked to Coric about a move to Anfield, and his reputation for developing players into world stars, may have turned the young playmaker’s head.
Coric is currently at the European Championships with Croatia but has yet to play a game for the national side at the tournament. The youngster only made his senior debut for his country back in May in a 1-0 friendly win over Moldova, coming on as a half time substitute.
