Liverpool are interested in signing Spanish teenager Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad, according to the Spanish newspaper AS. The winger is also a target for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal.

Oyarzabal has had a meteoric rise at Real Sociedad. He joined the Basque club at the age of 14 in 2011 before making his debut for the B side in 2014. He made his first appearance for the senior side in October 2015 in a 4-0 win over Levante and subsequently made 22 starts in the league last season, scoring 6 goals.

His impressive performances did not go unnoticed by Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque, and he was called up to the national side for the friendly against Bosnia last month. He made his international debut against Switzerland in a 3-1 win on Sunday, playing the last 30 minutes of the game after replacing striker Nolito.

The 19 year old only signed a new 5 year contract in February which has a €40million release clause but Real Sociedad are already concerned that this is not enough and will discuss another new deal over the summer to ward off potential suitors, according to AS.
