Lorient left back Raphael Guerreiro will have a medical in Paris today, as he finalises his move to Borussia Dortmund, according to L’Equipe.
The 22 year old was linked with a move to Liverpool earlier this month but the defender now looks set to play his football in Germany next season after Dortmund agreed a 12million fee with Lorient for the player.
Guerreiro started at full back in Portugal’s 1-1 draw against Iceland last night but it hasn’t prevented Dortmund from attempting to complete a move for the player during the European Championships.
The Portuguese international was actually born in France and could have chosen to play for Les Bleus but he chose to accept the call from Portugal in 2013, the country of his father’s birth, when he was capped by the Portugal Under 21 side. He made his first appearance for the senior team in 2015, making his debut against Armenia last November.
