Liverpool may switch their attentions to Hull City left back Andy Robertson, according to the Liverpool Echo. The Reds are growing increasingly frustrated with Leicester City’s refusal to budge on their £10million asking price for their young full back Ben Chilwell so they are looking for alternatives with the Scottish international at the top of the list.

Jurgen Klopp’s side had a £7million bid rejected by the Foxes for Chilwell with the fee broken down into £5m up front and £2m in add ons. With Chilwell said to be keen on a move to Anfield, the Reds may not give up on the Leicester man just yet and they may return with a second bid for the 19 year old but Robertson could be another option as the Merseyside club look for a player to rival Alberto Moreno.

Scottish international Robertson is only 22 himself but already has one season of Premier League experience with Hull City and performed well for the Tigers in the Championship last season as Steve Bruce’s side were promoted back to the top flight via the play-offs.
