Barcelona, and a number of other European clubs are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain left back Lucas Digne, according to L’Equipe.

The French newspaper believes that the Catalan club are looking for a replacement for Adriano, who is departing the club, to provide competition for first choice Jordi Alba.

The 22 year old has been linked to Liverpool in the past year, with the Liverpool Echo mentioning Digne, and it looks likely the Frenchman will depart France this summer as he is not considered as a first team player at PSG.

He is behind Brazilian full back Maxwell and Layvin Kurzawa in the pecking order at the Parc des Princes and was loaned out to Roma last season where he made 42 appearances last season, scoring three goals and providing five assists. The Serie A side did not have an option to buy the player inserted in to the loan deal leaving other clubs able to come in for the player.
