Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has declared that he is happy to stay at the French club, as long as the Ligue One Champions want him.

The 23 year old has been linked to Liverpool in recent weeks but Moura told Footmercato that he has no intention of leaving the Parc des Princes this summer:

“I’m happy here. I like Paris. I love the club. I like everyone. I always said I wanted to stay. I want to write my story here. But it depends on the club too. If the club wants me to stay, I stay,”

PSG are under new management after the French club sacked Laurent Blanc and replaced him with the former manager of Liverpool’s Europa League conquerors Sevilla, Unai Emery.

Under Blanc, Lucas was a regular in theĀ first team and the Brazilian will be hoping that a change in management will not affect his position in the starting eleven. He will be looking to impress Emery in preseason training as PSG look to retain their Ligue One title and make a greater impression in the Champions League next season. If not, he may seek other opportunities away from Paris. Whether the Reds are actually interested in the player is not known.
