Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on a reunion with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski, according German newspaper Bild.

The 30 year old was loaned out to Fiorentina last season to regain form and fitness after suffering a serious injury. He played 15 league games for the Viola last season but didn’t do enough to earn a permanent move as the Serie A club opted against excising their purchase option on the player.

His performances for Poland at the European Championships which saw his side reach the quarter finals before losing to Portugal on penalties, has led Klopp to thinking about bringing the midfielder to Anfield, the German paper reports.

Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel does not see Blaszczykowski as a first team regular at the German club and the Polish international could be available for between €5m and 7€m or £4-6million, according too Bild. General manager Michael Zorc has said he will talk with Blaszczykowski about his future soon:

“Cuba is player of BVB . We will talk in the next few days about his future. ”
