Liverpool could make an eleventh hour bid for Marko Pjaca, according to calciomercatonews.com. Juventus are believed to be finalising a deal for the Croatia winger but the website states the Reds may make one last attempt to convince the 21 year old to move to Anfield.

The Dinamo Zagreb player has had a lot of interest from clubs since his performances at the European Championships in France. His display against Spain and a cameo appearance against Portugal in the last 16 has led to a transfer battle with a number of Italian sides including Juve, Napoli and AC Milan all involved.

Reports in Italy had suggested that the Reds were the first team to bid for Pjaca but the player had his heart set on a move to Serie A. Italian champions Juventus quickly emerged as frontrunners and calciomercatonews.com are reporting that Juve have an agreement in place with both the player and his club, and want to tie up the deal before the end of the week to avoid any last minute bid from the likes of the Reds.
