Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for both centre back Tiago Ilori and winger Lazar Markovic, according to Abola. The Portuguese newspaper believes comments made by Jurgen Klopp after the Reds’ 2-0 friendly win against Wigan at the weekend were aimed at Ilori and Markovic as well as Mario Balotelli, Christian Benteke, Lucas Leiva and Adam Bogdan.

Talking to the press after the match against Wigan, Klopp was unequivocal when talking about not wanting players in the squad who were not part of his first team plans.

Markovic has been linked with a return to Portugal with Sporting Lisbon to join up again with his former Benfica manager Jorge Jesus, while Fenerbahce and Wolfsburg are also said to be interested in the Serbian winger. The future of the other five names on the list are also in doubt although the Reds are hoping to make most of their money back from Benteke, unlike the rest.
