Liverpool and Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke, according to the Mirror. It is believed however that Crystal Palace are leading the queue for the 19 year old.

Alan Pardew is looking for a replacement for Yannick Bolasie who was sold to Everton for £25million at the start of the week and they believe Burke could provide some added firepower as they seek to improve their potency in the final third of the pitch.

Forest will not allow the Scotland international to go on the cheap however. The winger has impressed under new manager Frenchman Philippe Montanier at the start this season and they are believed to be looking for at least £8million.

Considering Liverpool’s proliferation of attacking midfielders, it is unlikely the Reds will make a move for Burke unless they offload the likes of Lazar Markovic who isn’t set to feature under Jurgen Klopp this season. The Serbian has been linked with Sporting Lisbon, Schalke and Fenerbahce in recent weeks.
