Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is keen on making a move to Crystal Palace if a fee can be agreed between the two clubs, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Belgium international is well down the pecking order at Anfield with Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings believed to be Jurgen Klopp’s favoured striking options this season.
The 25 year old has spent just a year at the club after making his £32.5million move to Anfield last summer but the Reds are only willing to listen to offers if the transfer fee is close to the amount they paid Aston Villa. Palace are believed to have had a second bid worth £30million rejected by the Reds but it is the structure of the deal rather than the amount where the disagreement lies.
Palace have offered £23m plus £7m in addons but Liverpool will only accept a deal which would almost guarantee them receiving £30million instead of a offer where the addons may never be triggered.
