Liverpool, along with a number of top European clubs, are targeting Gremio striker Luan according to ZH. The Brazilian publication believes that Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United are rivalling the Reds for the Brazilian Under 23 international.

Currently playing for Brazil at the Olympics, Luan has scored three goals and provided two assists in five matches, and is said to be impressing scouts with his performances. ZH say that friends of the player have told them that he wants to move to Europe but his club will hold out for a substantial fee for the 23 year old.

As it stands, the Brazilian Serie A side are looking for €30million but only if the buying club allows the forward to stay until the end of the current league season in January. If they want Luan immediately, a club will have to shell out €45million. The buyout clause for foreign clubs is even higher at €80m but it looks as though Gremio will settle for a lot less.
