Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder Ante Coric could be set to leave his club in the January transfer window after falling out with his manager Zaljko Sopic.
At the end of August, Coric revealed to goal.com that he was just a medical away from completing a move to an unnamed club as he wanted to stay at Dinamo to play in the Champions League. He will however play no part in tonight’s group match against Juventus after being left out of the squad. The player has reacted to the news by expresseing his disappointment about the decision on his Facebook page.
The breakdown in the relationship between Sopic and Coric has led calciomercato.com to suggest that Liverpool and AC Milan could step up their interest for the 19 year old. The Reds were named as the club Coric was due to have a medical at back in August but we will have to wait and see whether Jurgen Klopp’s side will return for the player in January.
