Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic has once again refused to discuss his future beyond the end of the current season.
It was reported that the American international rejected a new contract to stay at Dortmund in April and has subsequently put off signing a new deal until he is certain of the amount of game time he will get under manager Thomas Tuchel this campaign. He told the blog thesetpieces.com:
“I’m absolutely focused on the season, performing well and winning games with our team.”
The Liverpool Echo believe that Pulisic is a key target for manager Jurgen Klopp but the Reds had a £11million offer rejected at the end of the summer transfer window by Dortmund according to reports.
So far this season, the midfielder has made 5 appearances for his club, scoring one goal and providing four assists. He came on as a 73rd minute substitute against Real Madrid on Tuesday night and set up the equaliser for Andre Schurrle in the 87th minute, helping his side to a 2-2 draw.
