Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has once again been linked with a move to Liverpool after Italian website Datasport stated that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would gladly take the Croatian in January after the 23 year old fell out of favour under Inter boss Frank De Boer.

Brozovic has been branded “unprofessional” by De Boer and has played just two matches so far this season. He played the opening match of the league campaign in the 2-0 defeat to Chievo Verona, and once in the Europa League in the 2-0 home defeat to Israeli side Hapoel Beer Sheva when he was substituted at half time.

The Croatian then angered Inter fans when he uploaded selfies with his girlfriend on Instagram minutes after Inter’s defeat to Sparta Prague in the Europa League last week. It looks likely that the defensive midfielder’s time is up in Italy with his agent Miroslave Bicanic saying that situation can only be resolved by the two men themselves:

“As regards to the situation of Brozovic, you will have to talk to the club directly. Only Inter can give an explanation about what is happening. If there have been questions. I can not talk about it, it is a situation that concerns only Brozovic and De Boer.”
