Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe future at the French club is in doubt after contract talks regarding an extension to his current deal hit an impasse, according to Le Parisien.

The French newspaper say that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are courting the centre back with PSG refusing to increase their wage offer to the 21 year old.

They are currently offering €100,000 a month or €25,000 a week as part of the new deal but Kimpembe is demanding a wage closer to team mate Ariel Rabiot’s contract which is almost double that.

Kimpembe’s contract expires in 2018 but PSG are reluctant to give in to his demands, reports the paper. Unlike Rabiot, the centre back is not a regular in Unai Emery’s side but he is important to the French club as he makes up one of the required homegrown players for the Champions League squad.

The player has requested a meeting with PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to resolve the dispute but there has been no reply so far from the club’s hierarchy.
