Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson believes the talent at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal means that they will be successful, but only if they continue listening and implementing the manager’s instructions on the field.

The midfielder firmly believes that the mixture of power, pace and skill in the Reds squad, combined with fitness and tactical discipline, will mean that the Reds will make their mark on the Premier League. He told Liverpoolfc.com:

“It’s not just about fitness, though. We have huge amounts of talent to go with that. Technique, pace, power: it’s all there in this group of players. We just need to keep listening to what the manager and his staff are saying in each session and then do what they demand on the weekend. I feel if we do that we’ll be successful.”

The Reds will face Sunderland at Anfield tomorrow afternoon. After a terrible start to the season, David Moyes’ side have managed to kick start their campaign with wins in their last two league matches against Bournemouth and Hull City,

Liverpool will still be without Adam Lallana who has been sidelined with a groin injury since playing for England in a friendly against Spain last week. Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to keep his place in the starting eleven, alongside Emre Can and Henderson in midfield.
