Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham have all been in contact with Dinamo Zagreb about the possibility of signing midfield playmaker Ante Coric, according to Klix.

The Bosnian website say that the Reds have been tracking the Croatian star for two years and have been in “constant contact” with the player’s agents. Tottenham meanwhile are hoping to take advantage of the good relations they have with Dinamo since they signed Luka Modric back in 2008.

Klix also report that Coric actually pulled out of a deal in the summer to sign for Manchester City for €15million after hearing manager Pep Guardiola was intending to send him out on loan.

The player is however still keen to play in the Premier League according to Klix which means English clubs like Liverpool have an advantage over other European clubs who are also interested in the 19 year old.

Coric plays mainly as an attacking midfielder, and would be a rival Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum for a place in the side if he were to be bought in January.
