According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan have set an asking price for Geoffrey Kondogbia at €22 million (£18.6 million) with them evidently looking to offload him in the near future.
The French midfielder joined the Serie A side from Monaco last year but with the club currently struggling in the Italian top flight they are apparently looking to shake things up with the sale of him at least in the near future.
And it could come as interesting news to the Reds who have been linked with him by fellow Italian outlet Calciomercato in recent times.
Whether or not a deal actually goes through remains to be seen of course but now that a price has been set on the powerful central midfielder’s head interest on the Reds’ behalf could increase.
We signed the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum in the summer for the centre midfield positions whilst Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana have also featured regularly in that role this season.
