It’s almost time for one of the biggest games of the season as we make the short trip across Stanley Park to face Everton at Goodison Park tonight.

It’s a game that always offers up a frenetic, competitive and vociferous display of Premier League football and there can be no doubt that the atmosphere at the home of the Blues will be red hot.

Of course, the men from Anfield are no strangers to such occasions and will be looking to put that aside in the quest for another three points for our title challenge whilst the gaffer thinks the team will more than rise to the occasion.

The Toffees would like nothing more than to stop us in our tracks but Jurgen Klopp feels the team are ready to stand up and be counted. This optimism is shared amongst bookies too with Liverpool currently at 7/1 for the win and a number of tipsters, such as bestbettingwebsites.org.uk, offering free bet sign-up offers on the game.

The German said, when talking about the atmosphere, (as quoted by The Liverpool Echo):

“I’m not afraid of it, it’s only football.

“I like it. It makes the job a little bit different but at the end it is still the same job.

“You can only do your best. There is always an influence on the atmosphere.

“You need to be really aggressive but not on the edge where you will be illegal. Don’t do things like this, concentrate on football. Use the noise!

“We are not there to translate what people are singing. We are there to play football. We know that it’s not for us. It’s loud, it’s emotional. Use it.”
