According to A Bola in Portugal, Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Andre Silva of FC Porto with the player enjoying a burgeoning reputation this season.
The young striker has been in superlative form this year with ten goals from 21 games in all competitions and now could be set for a move to one of the biggest leagues in Europe.
The Reds are not alone with their interest in securing his signature, though, as the report highlights the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are also monitoring his progress this season and so a bidding war could ensue.
Primarily, Silva is an out and out striker but he can also play down the right if asked and that could prove crucial for Jurgen Klopp if he goes for him with our manager’s preference for three versatile players up top.
He also has four goals in his four caps for the Portuguese national team since his debut earlier this year and looks set to be a big star in the coming seasons.
