Liverpool are reportedly looking to bolster their attacking options with the signing of Fran Navarro from Valencia according to Spanish outlet superdeporte.

We will, however, seemingly face competition for the young forward’s signature from Spanish giants Real Madrid as his reputation begins to really grow around the southern Europe nation.

Navarro is a centre forward predominantly but can also play down the left side and, with the way modern football tactics are, that could put him in good stead in the future, especially with the versatile front three that Jurgen Klopp likes to utilise.

At 18-years-old the player is undoubtedly one for the future instead of for right now but with the Reds already boasting a young and exciting squad there should be no reason why he wouldn’t fit in well around Melwood.

He’s made three appearances for the Spanish U17 side with him finding the net twice and would be another talented young striker to join the likes of Ben Woodburn in our ranks.

Think Navarro would be a good signing, Reds? Let us know below!
