According to The Mirror, we’re looking into the possibility of signing Joe Hart next summer from Manchester City.
The Reds have been superb going forward this season, of course, but have at times still been left wanting defensively and so if we’re going to have success over a sustained period of time, we need to fix that.
It appears, then, that Jurgen Klopp has had the same thought process and could look to get England’s number 1 in ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Hart has been on loan at Torino in Serie A this season after having it made clear to him that he was not part of Manchester City’s plans for this campaign and so it could turn out he is available for next year, too.
He’s definitely got the commanding presence and experience to be our first choice ‘keeper and would likely make us an even stronger unit than we already are at the moment.
