The Reds have announced via their official website that Sam Hart is going to return to the club from his loan deal at Port Vale.
The young defender had joined Vale in August of this season with him due to complete a season-long loan there and, with him making 16 appearances for the club, you could have seen him staying there until May.
The Reds have had other ideas, though, and have called him back to continue his progression at the Academy.
The defender managed to score once during his stay lower down in the Football League and that kind of experience should serve him well as he bids to make a breakthrough into our first team.
He’ll have to surpass the likes of young Trent Alexander-Arnold, though, to do that and so he’s got quite the job on to impress at the moment.
